Inventory Control Officer
Job description
- Responsible for maintaining parts accordance with the latest component rebuild schedule from the Reman team.
- To secure the BOM parts list with REMAN team by latest updated version
- To analyze and place orders for BOM & OOS (out-of-scope) parts quarterly based on the Reman forecast within timely manner
- To make sure to place order correctly.
- To place orders for Purchase advice from Service department, air orders within a day, sea orders within a day or two.
- Update the “Tracking Sheet” immediately after placing an order and update Back-order files weekly.
- To review the all back-order parts daily and ensure get update from Expediting coordinator
- Monitor the parts ETA and ETD status
- Ensure both the system(commit) and tracking sheet report matches
- To monitor Monthly cycle count, Random count and Daily count with Parts counters
- Receive all parts return form request check ensure all information filled out correctly, return justification valid then submit to the Inventory coordinators.
- Receive release request from service planning team and make sure to double check part number and quantity that linked to work order is matching with approved service quotation and BOM file.
- To track picking list with Warehouse team and make sure to document.
- Participate in weekly meeting with Service planning team and Reman team.
- Receipt notes and other file archiving.
- Maintain effective and clear communication with reman & service team.
- Other responsibilities and duties as assigned by other Supervisors, Parts manager and HOD
Job requirements
- Exposure to Heavy Mining Equipment would be an advantage.
- Ability to work on ERP systems and Excel spreadsheets.
- Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of company procedures as applicable.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English by email and oral.
- Strong communication and reporting skill would be an advantage.
- Detail-oriented.
- Expertise in Microsoft Office 365 Suite
