- To lead and manage Health and Safety activities to ensure Occupational Health and Safety activities are conducted in compliance with legislation, corporate policies, and customer & community expectations.
- To provide the framework for improving operational Health and Safety performance to achieve our value of Zero Harm to Everyone, Everywhere.
Job requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or occupational health and safety
- More than 5 years of safety experience including 3 years in a managerial position, mining experience will be preferred.
- Good understanding of mechanic and maintenance service
- Communication and conflict management skills in dealing with management and corporate personnel.
- Proficient in problem-solving and strong analytical skills required.
- Must exhibit strong skills in influencing, persuading, and motivating individuals or groups to achieve desired outcomes in a professional and normally ethical way.
- Experience in effective delegation, supervision, motivation, and support of staff
- Effective time and workload management
- Leadership and team-building skills
- Excellent command of written and spoken English and Mongolian
