WildMongolia is seeking a Business Development Associate to join our team in Ulaanbaatar. The ideal candidate will drive growth strategies, identify new market opportunities, and build partnerships in the educational tourism sector.

This role reports to Beyond Classrooms, the educational arm of our group company, founded by an international team passionate about transforming educational travel. We believe school travel requires a unique approach, distinct from leisure travel.

The person in this position will work closely with the Head of Business Development, focusing on our 2B market, in particular private and bilingual educational institutions, playing a pivotal role in shaping our growth and innovation. Furthermore, they will serve as a representative of the Education team on significant cross-team projects.

The position will be based in the office of our sister company, WildMongolia in Ulaan Baatar. This individual will be responsible for selling our innovative experiential education programs in Japan, Mongolia, & other regions as specified by their line manager. They will also be tasked with supporting the Business Development team with day-to-day tasks such as proposals and pitch decks generation.

The ideal candidate will speak English & Japanese, possess a fierce determination to excel in a competitive industry, and be available to commence working immediately. The chosen candidate will have the unique opportunity to help developing Beyond Classrooms aspirations to become a preeminent player in the global experiential learning industry.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide customer support and respond to inquiries during working hours.

• Prepare PowerPoint presentations for product pitches

• Conduct networking, branding and PR activities for the company

• Conduct research and identify business development areas and opportunities

• Reach out to potential clients through cold calling and emailing

• Create content for social media platforms and the website

• Work with local stakeholders for logistics, making bookings and enquiries as needed to

  facilitate programming.

• Collaborate with our international team to ensure seamless support across time zones

  Requirements:

• Must be fluent in both English and Japanese

• Capable of working under pressure and meeting deadlines

• Must have a passion for delivering top-class customer service

• Should be a self-starter with the ability to find creative solutions to problems

• Must have a passion for experiential education and cross-cultural exchange

• Strong skills in Microsoft office, particularly in Microsoft PowerPoint.
