We are seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Kitchen Supervisor based in UB at the Administration department.
This position is responsible for managing all kitchen staff as create a lunch menu, cost control. Support for the Administration Department.
Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, including chefs, cooks, and dishwashers.
Assign tasks and ensure proper workflow during shifts.
Train new staff on kitchen procedures, safety protocols, and food preparation standards.
Ensure all dishes are prepared according to recipes and presentation standards.
Monitor food quality and consistency, addressing any issues promptly.
Conduct regular inspections of ingredients and finished dishes.
Oversee inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
Compare prices from suppliers to secure the best deals.
Ensure proper storage of food items to maintain freshness and prevent waste.
Monitor kitchen equipment and report any maintenance or repair needs.
Enforce strict hygiene and sanitation standards in the kitchen.
Ensure compliance with local health and safety regulations.
Conduct regular inspections to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Optimize kitchen workflows to improve efficiency and reduce waiting times.
Conduct regular inventory checks to track usage and reduce waste.
Address and resolve any operational issues during service.
Assist in menu planning and cost control to meet budgetary goals.
Handle staff complaints or special requests related to food preparation.
Ensure timely delivery of orders to maintain employees’ satisfaction.

Repurpose leftovers creatively (e.g., soups, specials).
