Role Description:

Chief Technology Officer

As the Chief Technology Officer (CTO), you will serve as both an executor and a visionary,  aligning our business strategy with technical solutions. 

Key Skills:

• Domain Expertise:
  • Understands how business needs drive trade-offs between service levels, risk management, and cost.
  • Ensures reliability, high availability, and scalability of infrastructure services.
  • Thorough understanding of QA/testing processes, application maintenance, deployment, and infrastructure.
  • Ability to make quick decisions under pressure with a clear understanding of operational impact.

Role Summary:

As the CTO, you will:

Responsibilities:

• Translate business strategy into technology strategy and align platform requirements with concrete use cases.
• Provide a technical roadmap for implementing software engineering practices to enhance code quality.
• Ensure timely adoption of relevant new technologies through research and continuous improvement.
• Monitor platform development to ensure adherence to best practices and engineering rigor.
• Partner with transformation to develop flexible, responsive, and scalable cost improvement ideas and new product lines.
• Identify opportunities to reduce costs or enhance services within given parameters.
• Provide direction to operations and support teams for retention, career planning, and performance management.
• Cultivate technology leaders within the organization who can excel as general managers.
• Constantly seek better ways to solve technical problems and design solutions, challenging the status quo.

Agile/Digital Experience:

• Experience managing Agile teams and guiding Agile methodologies.
• Understanding of the relationship dynamics within Agile teams.

Individual Skills:

• Strong communication skills to align the organization on complex technical decisions.
• Ability to lead diverse teams with varying skills and expertise.
• Drive teams to meet SLAs for maintenance, issue resolution, and disaster recovery.
