• Strong understanding of & adherence to the Employer Policies (including a code of conduct, regulations and standards)
• Provide source data and reports to external payroll provider
• Ensure accuracy of time reported for the project and make labour corrections and enter supplemental time additions to time records where appropriate
• Maintain source document records in accordance with Mongolian legal requirements
• Maintain general ledger accounts and prepare journal entries for accruals/prepayment and variances
• Prepare monthly balance sheet schedules and ensure action items are cleared on time
• Contribute to the preparation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work Instructions for the Finance Team and Business Operations regarding labour accounting and payroll.
• Review statutory Social and Health Insurance filings to ensure accuracy and completeness of submissions
• Adhere to standard accounting principles and company procedures.
• Liaise with Site and Ulaanbaatar Office Teams to resolve time recording, employee expense and payroll queries; Liaise with tax agents for tax queries
• Liaise with tax agents for tax queries

• Graduate accounting bachelor’s degree
• Capable of leading the entire payroll team 5+ years of professional experience, as well as a CPA or CPTA.   
• Effective verbal and written communication skills in English and Mongolian
• Mature, Meticulous & Team Player with strong organizational skills;
• Committed and able to work under pressure to deliver results timely and accurately
• Experience working with Oracle ERP system or another ERP;
• Concur Expense knowledge an advantage
• Microsoft Office experience;
• Enthusiastic, energetic & self-starter;
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, set priorities and see projects through to completion.
• Ability to self-learning from working area
