Service Leader – Accountant Under the guidance and supervision of the Assistant Financial Controller – you are responsible for providing financial, administrative and clerical services in order to ensure effective, efficient and accurate finance and administrative operations by complying with the corporate standards and policies. This includes processing and monitoring payments and expenditures of general ledger, accounts receivable and accounts payable. You will be ensuring the accurate and timely preparation and payment of all general ledger, accounts payable and accounts receivable. The Accountant must have a complete knowledge of general ledger, accounts payable and accounts receivable operations, chart of accounts, and receiving and purchasing operations.

Carries own sales accounts and establishes personal & team sales goals, and be responsible for a representative selection of key accounts. Attends major client functions and promotional events to promote sales for the hotel and meets with all influential clients. Maintains the highest standards of professionalism and friendly attitude towards all hotel guests, clients, suppliers and colleagues and builds positive working relationships. Monitors sales production and adjust sales activities, account coverage and sales priorities as necessary to achieve plan goals. Develops annual sales department budget and executes the sales programs and activities within it.

Sales Coordinator

Sales Coordinator Under the general guidance and supervision of the Director of Sales & Marketing assists in the negotiation process and handling corporate clients, assists in sending proposals and Letters of Agreement, secretarial and administrative back-up which includes Department’s reports, hotel inspections,attending to walk-in clients or any other specific projects as assigned.Ensures prompt, efficient and friendly service to all guests at all time.

Communications Executive

Under the guidance and supervision of the Director of Sales & Marketing – you will be assisting in the development, co-ordination and execution of all Communications activities.  Under the general guidance and supervision of the DOSM and within the limits of established hotel policies and procedures, you will promote and maintain good communications in order to build and maintain the prestigious image of the hotel.   KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:   Assists DOSM in preparing annual Communications goals and budgets as outlined in the marketing plan and preparing working plans to achieve goals Assists and supports the co-ordination of photography for advertising, collateral and public relations purposes between the hotel, advertising agency and Marketing Department at Corporate Office Assists in the coordination and execution of all printed materials in-house, following the specification as stipulated in the corporate ID Manual Prepares draft Quarterly Newsletter (in co-ordination with the F&B Manager – Marketing & Promotions) for DOSM review. Assists in developing and maintaining comprehensive list of media contacts Assists in maintaining excellent relationship with local and international media to promote good publicity and counteract bad exposure Builds positive working relationship with all departments of the hotel; ensures understanding of sales programs and the wants, needs and expectations of customers/guests

Under the guidance and supervision of the Director of Sales & Marketing, you will provide administrative assistance to Sales & Marketing Department and guidance to internal & external guests/ suppliers who contact or visit the Sales&Marketing office. You will assist with the administration of the day-to-day operations, duties and practices and play an active role on departmental functions.  Key responsibilities:   Performs all secretarial and administrative duties as instructed by the Division Head Ensures efficient filing system for employee files, timely submission of daily & monthly reports, incoming / outgoing files and trace files Updates all filing systems and records all expenses of sales&marketing Liaises with the Purchasing Officer on all purchase requisition issued & expedites the delivery of maintenance items and/or services Responsible for the divisions’ duty roster, leave & overtime recording and tracking in line with the payroll system Coordinate daily office related activities & accurate document processing

Under the guidance and supervision of the General Manager and within the limits of established hotel policies and procedures, he/ she provides guest services as well as supervision, direction and leadership in the Rooms Division in accordance with the objectives, performance and quality standards established by Shangri-La Hotels & Resorts.     KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:   The Executive Housekeeper is responsible for the proper, efficient and profitable functioning of the  Housekeeping and Laundry Department of the Hotel.
